Dr. (Captain) Yigal Maor

    Professional Experience:
    • Director, Shipping and Ports Administration, Ministry of Transportation (2009–2022)
    As the Director of the Shipping and Ports Administration, Capt. Maor was the chief regulator overseeing the shipping and ports industry in Israel. He played a pivotal role in the strategic decision-making process regarding the upgrading of existing ports and the construction of new ones, including overseeing the entire process of their development and operational launch.
    • Senior Management Positions, Zim Integrated Shipping Services
    Capt. Maor served in various senior management roles within Zim, including Senior Vice President and member of the company's management team. His extensive career with Zim included many years of international service, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and strategic direction.

    Capt. Maor served as a member of the Haifa City Council, contributing to local governance and urban development.
